There are a growing number of overnight stops that are provided by the local communities in Scotland – everything from bunk houses and hostels to self catering flats and glamping pods as well as motorhome aires, pontoons and moorings.

What you may not realise is that by staying at these you are putting cash back into the community often to help them do other things that are tackling important local issues – caring for the elderly, youth work, nature projects and health and well being.
